Koman yo fè posesyon ak 'S oubyen S'

 

Nou pral fè diferan ant  lè non an gen apostròf dèyè (S') ak lè li genyen l devan ('S). 

pou montre posesyon, pou sa yon moun ak yion bagay genyen, 

ann pran egzanp sa yo:

1) My father's house. 

2) my fathers' house. 

Lan 2 fraz sa yo, ou ka wè lan premye, apostròf la devan S la, se pask non a o sengilye ki sinyifi papa w = father. 

Lan 2 fraz sa yo, ou ka wè lan premye, apostròf la dèyè S la, se pask non a o pliryèl ki sinyifi paran= fathers yo.

Lòt bagay ou dwe konnen, pou fè posesyon, li gen 2 fòmil:

premye a se: OWNER'S (mèt bagay la)  + POSESSION (sa l posede a). 

               Ex: My father's house

Lan fraz sa, father se mèt bagay la, house se sa li posede a. 

Lòt fòmil lan se: POSSESSION + OF + OWNER.

Si noi transfome fòmil anwo a ak tout egzanp li, n'ap genyen:

                Ex: The house of my father.
